Registration for the Real Estate Surveyors Certification Examination Has Begun!

Applications will be accepted from June 29 through July 8. Application documents should be submitted via email to certification@tcj.gov.ge. Applicants will be informed of the examination date within three working days after the registration period ends.

The examination fee is GEL 480.

Required Application Documents

  • Completed application form
  • Copy of an ID card, passport, or driver's license
  • CV/Résumé
  • Higher education diploma (if applicable)
  • Documentation confirming at least one year of experience in cadastral surveying, or a certificate confirming completion of a qualification training course for authorized cadastral surveyors

Note:
A certified surveyor who has continuously practiced the profession since obtaining the certificate and has no record of professional misconduct may apply for recertification no later than two months before the certificate expires.

Eligibility Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legal capacity
  • Registered place of residence in Georgia
  • Proficiency in the Georgian language

  • A Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:

    • Engineering Geodesy and Geoinformatics
    • Geography
    • Mining and Geoengineering

    If the applicant's diploma indicates a different but equivalent field of study, they may submit supporting documents to verify its equivalence.

    OR

  • At least one year of experience in cadastral surveying

    OR

  • Completion of a qualification training course for authorized cadastral surveyors

Competency Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of the legal framework governing the registration of rights to immovable property and the ability to apply this knowledge when preparing registration-related documents.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geodesy and cartography and the ability to apply them in cadastral surveying.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the ability to process cadastral survey data using GIS technologies.
  • Practical skills required for cadastral surveying, including the use of high-precision geodetic equipment and surveying methods, office-based data processing, and preparation of documentation in the prescribed format.

The Justice Training Centre is the first public institution in Georgia authorized to certify cadastral surveyors. It has obtained the relevant accreditation and has been positively assessed for compliance with the ISO/IEC 17024:2012/2014 standard for personnel certification.
